The Hydraulic Clamshell Bucket  (also known as the beak-shaped scoop, clamper or grabber) is a commonly used attachment device in construction machinery (such as excavators, rotary drilling rigs, etc.).

Main Features and Structure

Appearance and Movement: Due to the opening and closing movements resembling the closing and opening of a shell, it was named so.

Component Structure: It is mainly composed of the bucket body (made of high-strength wear-resistant steel), hydraulic cylinder, gear seat plate, side plate, hanging ear plate, and bucket teeth, among other components.

Main application scenarios:

Material handling: Suitable for ports, docks, railway stations' freight yards, mines, etc., used for grasping, loading onto vehicles, unloading, transferring sand and gravel, coal, grains and other loose materials.

Pit and deep pit excavation： Can be used for deep pit excavation in construction sites, earthwork operations in narrow and restricted spaces, and for grasping soil in vertical circular pits in conjunction with rotary drilling machines.
