Hydraulic Breaker Side Bolt

● Intense vibration: The breaker produces powerful high-frequency vibration during operation, which tends to trigger fatigue fracture of the Side Bolt.

● Untimely tightening: Continuous operation after slight loosening of the bolts leads to uneven stress and causes the bolts to shear off.

● Thread wear: Thread stripping or severe corrosion of threaded holes on the shell.

● Cease breaker work straight-away: Power off the excavator‑mounted hydraulic breaker the moment you discover snapped or missing hydraulic breaker side bolt. This stops remaining fasteners from bearing excess load and suffering chain-reaction breakage.

● Extract broken stud: If a bolt breaks inside the hole, use a dedicated broken screw extractor, gas cutting or spot welding to take it out. Do not damage the shell threads. Replace parts: Install new high-strength Side Bolts (such as Grade 12.9) and spring washers conforming to OEM standards.

● Symmetrical tightening: Tighten bolts gradually in diagonal sequence with a torque wrench to guarantee even force distribution.
